The Autumn 2008 TfC Programme of Courses has now been Published

Three types of course are Offered in the Programme:

Preparing effective tenders- practical aspects for writing winning tenders

Delegates have indicated that they wish to learn the practical skills which are necessary for the preparation of a winning tender. This is a whole day Workshop (including lunch) based on a series of practical group exercises

Tendering as a Consortium

Interest in that section of our Workshops which concentrates on consortium working for successful tendering is always considerable. Delegates have asked us to provide a workshop which concentrates specifically on this aspect of tendering. This Workshop will blend regulatory requirements with pratical group exercises. During June we delivered a programme of 12 events under contract to the DWP. These events had a focus on tendering as a consortium.

Understanding Tendering and Procurement

Tendering successfully is partly about tender preparation skills and probably more importantly about how the tendering organisation manages risk. This means an understanding of the legal framework within which tendering is set as well as the options which are available to challenge the decisions of the purchaser were appropriate. This event also includes lots of guidance, hints and tips.
