Tendering For Care

There is an increasing trend for providers to be required to form consortia and/or sub-contract elements of contracts in order to meet the requirements of a health or social care contracts. As these requirements increase it is becoming difficult to find somewhere where opportunities of this kind can be advertised. One only of the regional portals has a sub-contracting section, whilst there are numerous hurdles for providers who are not pulic authorities to advertise on Contracts Finder. Advertising on the OJEU is straightforward, but not all contractors wish to go down this route.

TfC is now making this space available for Health and Social Care providers who are lead and/or prime contractors to advertise sub-contracting oppportunities. There is No charge for this service. Advertising is simple and quick. Please provide us with:

a) A summary of the opportunity - no more than 100 words

b) A Notice in .pdf format which;

1. describes the opportunity;
2. sets out the relevant CPV and NUTS codes;
3. states a closing date and time;
4. provides a link to a website from which further information can be obtained;
5. gives a named contact details to include telephone and email address.

Maximum number of words - 400, no more than one sheet of A4.

We will publish your notice here within 24 hours and leave the notice on the site until 7 days after the closing date.

TfC is also able to send an email alert regarding your opportunity to up to 19,000 selected email addresses across the UK.
