TfC services are based on the experience of working in and with the public sector since 1973.
This includes:
- The management of multi million pound budgets, including the purchasing of services;
- The management of tendering exercises for puiblic secor purchasers;
- Tender appraisal and scoring.
This provides us with unrivalled, current experience of what makes an excellent tender; how and where to score; and "quick wins". Those apparently small things which those tendering can do to build up a good, winning points score.
TfC customers had 273 contracts awarded to them in 2009, with £13.3 million being awarded in December alone.
The reduced number of tender published led to a drop in 2010, but from March 2011 we are seeing increasing success rates. We have helped Members secure contracts worth £6m; £4.6m; and £3.4m already this year as well as a number of much smaller contracts.
Our focus is on health and social care service tenders; those for housing, a wide range of medical services, GP consortia and tenders in primary care related fields .
