Tendering For Care

With effect from 16th September 2008 all tender notices published in the OJEU will reference a new set ofCPV codes. These are the standard codes used across all of the EU to identify the goods and services to be purchased in the procurement process. They are important for Third Sector Organisatons and charities as they are used to identify "Part B" services, that is to say those services which the public purchaser may procure without the need to comply fully with the Public Contracts Regulations 2006. The OGC notes on its website that an "Amending Regulation" will be requiredin order to bring the existing Part B list of codes into ,line with the new set. This amendment has not yet, on 31st August 2008,  been published. When it is we will update the item on Part B codes on this website. The attached document sets out the new codes.
